Class Announcements Thank YouWe just want to take a moment to thank all parents for your support, care and love. Your children have been such a joy to teach. Without your support we could not have been successful in your childs learning and growth. Third grade is a major "stepping stone" in a childs learning career. We have had a wonderful year of learning. We hope to have made some positive influence or "mark" on your child. They certainly have made a positive influence on our lives. Thank you for all you have given.
Getting CloseWe are getting close to the end of the year. Parents, please be on the look-out for any "End of the Year" notices such as; lost library/text books. Any lost books will need to be paid for, before the final report card will be released. We will send a note home indicating the titles of any missing books. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Field DayWOW!!!!!!!! What a great day we had. Smith's Saddle Broncs came in 3rd place in the Tug-Of-War contest. I think all had a wonderful time. Thank you for coming out and supporting your children. Wasn't the concession stand the best????????? Be sure to take time to give a big "Thank You" to our wonderful PTA.
Learning Journey to the Tyler ZooThe Learning Journey to the Tyler Zoo is close approaching. Please sign and return the permission form. Be sure to indicate if your child will bring a sack lunch , or if they will getting a sack lunch from the cafeteria. Each child should bring two drinks for the trip. We will leave no later than 8:00. The buses will not wait. Students may bring Ipods, Game-Boys, etc, if we have a letter from you. We are not responsible for any loss. We should return to campus about 4:30-5:00. All teachers will have a cell phone for you to keep in contact.
